— Bitter row on holiday in the Caribbean— Whirlwind fling lasted just 65 days
HARRY Styles and Taylor Swift have split following a bitter bust-up on their Caribbean holiday.
One Direction star Harry, 18, was enjoying a romantic break with the singer on the island of Virgin Gorda after they flew in on New Year’s Day.
Their whirlwind fling lasted 65 days.
The Sun revealed they were an item last November after they attended the US version of the X Factor together when Taylor was performing on the show.
But a source said: “It all came crashing down very quickly.
"They seemed so into each other. Harry had flown to the US to surprise Taylor so they could spend New Year together.
"But while in the Caribbean they had a huge fight. Taylor got on the next plane back to the US and Harry hung around for a few days, letting off steam.”
After devastated Taylor left last Friday, Harry flew to Richard Branson’s private Necker Island to party.
He was pictured in a hot-tub with the Virgin billionaire, 62, and other holidaymakers.
He then returned to Virgin Gorda next day before heading for New York on Sunday. He spent the night there before flying back to UK.
Harry and Taylor had secretly dated last spring — but split after tattooed ladies’ man Harry was snapped kissing another woman in New Zealand.
A source said: “It took him a long time to earn Taylor’s trust again and it was a big deal for her to go public with their relationship a few months ago.
“She really thought it would be a long-term thing and Harry thought he was ready for a serious relationship too. But she is very intense and he’s so carefree — only 18 years old — it was always going to be tough.”

Taylor, who has had a string of relationships with stars including singer John Mayer and actor Jake Gyllenhaal, hinted at the split on Sunday.
She wrote on Twitter: “’Til you put me down” — a line from her song I Knew You Were Trouble, which is about mistakenly letting a bad-boy boyfriend into her life.
Another of her recent chart hits was titled We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
The star, who famously pens songs about her love life, is now expected to compose a number about the break-up.
She and Harry had spent Christmas apart before he surprised her by jetting to the US. The pair spent New Year’s Eve together in New York where Taylor was performing.
They then marked the start of 2013 with a kiss in Times Square before heading to the Caribbean next day.

THE REVIEW
THIS is one showbiz relationship that definitely fits in the “whirlwind” category.
The only winner has been the private jet firm and whoever they pay for fuel.
This won’t be the last time Harry ends up on the front page when a showbiz relationship goes belly-up.
Taylor will write a song about the whole thing — and he will get over it in a few weeks.
It’s for the best. A man of his age, in his position, should not be settling down. Especially not with American singers with country roots.
